ICANSERVE Foundation’s gallery for good opened on September 1 but not before The Pink Room Vernissage, a preview of the artworks on the eve, August 31.
The big reveal of 27 pairs of Nike Air Force 1 Triple White transformed into one-of-a-kind pieces by contemporary Filipino artists, led by National Artist for Visual Arts Benedicto “BENCAB” Cabrera, at The Estate Makati Lounge in SMX Aura drew in a slew of enthusiasts including sneaker fans, art collectors, and fashion and lifestyle writers agog over the singular opportunity to see the entire collection for the very first time.
The Pink Room Catalog was launched on preview night. It contains pictures of all the pieces, the auction mechanics, and a glimpse into the artistic process that went into each piece. Download the full catalog here.

The Pink Room is part of ICANSERVE’s 25th anniversary celebration. The foundation advocates early breast cancer detection and has touched the lives of over 300,000 women in the past 25 years, educating them on early detection guidelines and reminding them to take charge of their health.
Proceeds of the auction will enable ICanServe to fund treatments and medical procedures for breast cancer patients, launch high-impact health literacy campaigns, invest in the training of public health care workers on early detection, and create breast cancer control programs, to support its mission of saving lives.
The exhibition moves to L2, The Brittany Hotel, BGC from September 4 to 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Register at The Pink Room to join the auction on September 14. Every minimum donation of Php500 shall be counted as a single raffle entry that gives the donor a chance to win one of two Art Shoes which will not be auctioned, but instead be offered for raffle. Artists Lilianna Manahan and Ciane Xavier donated the raffle prizes.
